All organic life simple goal is to stay alive. Everything is in the state of survival. Although human beings surpassed this mode through gardening practices etc, I still feel the pain of death, while it is a natural event, is hardwired into our cells to stay alive and as social beings we wish the same for others. It is not rational but pathos cannot be denied.
